DescriptionThree copies of printed circular from Maud E Williams (Rose Castle) giving notice of two-day fete and sale in aid of the Laymen's Fund for the Augmentation of [Poor] Livings in the Diocese, and urging ways of helping, October 1923 (detailed); letter from W Little [agent at] Lowther, to the Vicar of Ainstable, 25 April 1923 - "all the Documents relating to Armathwaite were handed over to Messrs. Saul of Carlisle, solicitors, on behalf of Mr Ecroyd on 12 September 1888". The three circulars bear name of the Armathwaite contact for the Sale. The letter is in Mr Little's handwriting
